Whitehaven Beach, Whitsunday Islands, Australia
This stunning beach stretches for over 7km in the Whitsunday Islands and is the largest of the 74 islands. It has crystal clear aqua waters and pure white silica sand that feels like talcum powder under your feet. At the Northern end of Whitehaven Beach is Hill Inlet, a stunning cove where the tide shifts the sand and water to create a beautiful fusion of colours. For the best view, journey to the lookout at Tongue Point on Whitsunday Island. However, the Australian sun is extremely strong so take a leaf out of the locals' book and make sure you are well protected. Baia do Sanchos, Brazil
This beach is often voted as the Number One Beach in Brazil on Tripadvisor, and we can see why. With it's sparkling emerald water, coral reefs and secluded isolation, beachcombers have to follow a winding dirt trail, climb down a rickety ladder, slip through a tight crevasse, navigate yet another rickety ladder and finally hop over a few sandy steps before hitting the pristine sands.
